Definition and Function of Cookies
A cookie is a text file that is stored in a computer or a mobile device through a web server, which is the sole unit to be able to restore or read the cookie’s content, enabling the Website to remember browsing preferences and efficient navigation. 2. Types of cookies according to period during which they remain activated:
Depending on the period of time during which they are activated, we can differentiate:

  • Persistent cookies: types of cookies where data is stored permanently in the terminal and accessed and handled for a determined period of time by the holder of the cookie, variable from a minute to several years.
