Cala Pada is a stunning beach about two hundred meters long. It’s located a couple of kilometers far from Santa Eulalia town and is a fantastic alternative to enjoy there with the whole family as it has a big sandy area, a considerable extension of non deep water and rarely the waves hit the coast thanks to reefs that protect it from the tides.
Due to the proximity with Santa Eulalia and Es Canar, the beach can be reached by a pleasant hiking or biking path that connects these two urban centres by the coast. There are also bus connections, it has easy car accessibility and the regular line of Santa Eulalia Ferry, which makes some daily stops at Cala Pada.
At the center of the beach there is a small dock that characterizes the beach, which is reached by small recreational boats and from where the bravest dare to jump into the crystalline waters. At the corner you can gaze at a few small piers, so common on the island, that will evoke the fishermen tradition of the island. Cala Pada is surrounded by pine forests that give peace and calmness, allowing you to reach a great disconnection from your routine, in addition, they create a sandy area under their shades, for those who prefer to have a cool relaxing time than sunbathing.
It is a spacious beach in which you can find umbrellas and sunbeds rental, also paddle boats. The place offers facilities for practising water sports. Usually you can see windsurfers practicing when the wind blows from the south. If you are bold enough and you are looking for a unique experience, reach the diving center Diving Center Ibiza, situated at the left side of the beach, and dare to explore the depths of the Mediterranean Sea.
A few meters far from the shore, there are many restaurants and beach bars (“chiringuitos”) creating a placid corner surrounded by nature. Cala Pada is the perfect place where to enjoy a beer in the shade of an umbrella or taste the traditional fish and seafood specialities at the Brisa de la mar restaurant.
If you are staying in one of the multiple lodging places surrounding Cala Pada, as it could be the modern Apartamentos Los Arcos, from Santa Eulalia Ferry we offer departures heading to Formentera, Ibiza city, Santa Eulalia y Cala Llonga.
