Ibiza Town

Nature, culture, arts and a lot of fun awaits you in Ibiza. Its picturesque urban beaches contrast with the beauty and rural air of its inner nature.

If you want to have a break from your beach holidays and discover the historical center in which the Ibiza lifestyle originated, use one of our daily departures of Santa Eulalia Ferry. Our departing point is Es Canar, with stops in Cala Pada, Santa Eulalia and Cala Llonga.

In Ibiza town you can feel the cultural heritage of the amount of civilizations that had been established here historically. Carthaginians, Phoenicians, Romans, Arabian… A good example of it is appreciated when you see its old walls, the cathedral or the necropolis at Puig des Molins. For all those reasons, Ibiza is a UNESCO World Heritage point.

A visit to the cathedral, starting from the old market, is enough to understand the cultural richness of the island. Get ready for a unique walking route, getting inside the old town through the spectacular door called Ses Taules. The narrow streets surrounded with white houses, the streets paved with cobblestones and the different viewpoints at the bulwarks will offer you an authentic and unique view of Ibiza.

By its walls, there is the neighbourhood of the Marina, plenty of alleys full of shops with unique fashion collections that you won’t find in any other place in the world, world wide recognized for many of the big fashion icons. Here you can find hand-made leather crafts, or clothes brought from Bali or California next to the creation of local designers. There are also many shops with the popular ibicencan Adlib Fashion. Get your white dress in shops like Bamba Adlib or Pepa Bonett. It is worth visiting the already traditional Hippy Market that is set every evening right by the sea. The gastronomic offer in the city is huge. You have international restaurants, fusion experimental cuisine and traditional kitchens at your disposal. Some of the world’s best chefs established restaurants in Ibiza. Adrià Brothers, Paco Roncero or Sergi Arola are some of the international names that are based here. Yet, there is space for traditional places with local food, like Comidas Bar San Juan or the restaurant Can Costa.

If you are looking for family leisure, Ibiza can offer a vast amount of options. From large sandy beaches like Platja d’en Bossa, Ses Salines, Talamanca or Aguamar, the aquatic park placed in Platja d’en Bossa, where you can enjoy an exciting family day.

And talking about Ibiza, is to talk about its nightlife. Pacha, Heart, Lío or any of the numerous small pubs, bars and terraces create the perfect nightlife scenario. Again, in Marina neighborhood, you will find a beautiful terrace where to have dinner and a drink. For example, Can Pou Bar, is a place with local feeling, food, drinks and music jams. The night follows getting lost in any of the multiple terraces spread along the old town. Ending up, after midnight, in some of the famous clubs in the city, could be the perfect plan to enjoy a night with friends.
